In
a Nutshell
A brief history of time from ex-Level 42 drummer
Phil Gould! This massive collection of fresh beats
includes a vast range of feels and styles - from recordings
made as far back as 1984 right up to the present day!
Review Highlights
"With all it has going for it, it was easy to
call Phil Gould On Drums a Key Buy." Keyboard
Magazine May 2000
Contents
Hundreds of specially recorded loops. Some loops
also include specially-recorded percussion from Miles
Bould and Rupert Brown, many of Phil's grooves are
radically transformed in the 'SNAFU' (Situation Normal
All F***ed Up!) section and Phil performs a massive
range of styles - there's even some excellent D&B
loops! Loops range from 70 bpm right up to 165 bpm
plus there's a selection of high quality single hits
too. This collection will not disappoint anyone and
has a similar feel to Gota's CD - excellent performances,
loose, funky and creatively produced. Phil's Cd should
win as many friends as Gota's did and appeal to everyone
who bought it.
More info on the Producer
Phil Gould is probably best known as Level 42's drummer
but has also recorded and toured with many other well-known
artists.
CD-ROM Info
REX2 files can be loaded directly into Reason, Cubase
and Logic 5 (when released). They play in time with
your music just like any REX file but are in stereo!
You can also load them into ReCycle 2.0 and then export
them to any supported format. Using the matching MIDI
Files allows you the same control offered by supported
software sequencers if you prefer to use hardware
samplers instead. REX2 will also shortly be supported
by emagic's EXS24 too.
