AMG are delighted to announce our second 'Prop Idol' contest! Once again we're offering an amazing $1000 worth of ReFills and REX CDs of your choice to the ultimate winner and two $100 prizes for two runners-up.

The first time we ran a similar contest we had some excellent entries. Click here to check out the ultimate winners last time to see the sort of calibre of entries we're looking for again this time round.

In addition to the prizes on offer AMG may also offer entrants the opportunity to be involved in a new venture scheduled to be launched before the end of the year too.

TO ENTER:

1. Create an original composition within Reason (any version) of 5 minutes or less in duration. All styles are welcomed, not only commercial songs but also soundtrack or atmospheric pieces would also welcomed. Save it as a WAV, Aiff or MP3 file.

2. Mail it as an attachment (ZIP or Stuffit file) to matt@amguk.co.uk with the subject 'Prop Idol 2'. Please also provide the following information in your mail.

A) Your name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

B) What version of Reason you're using, the modules you used in your track and any commercial ReFills or REX libraries used.

C) What sort of music you specialize in and what your musical ambitions are.

3. Make sure you enter before the end of September then sit back and cross your fingers!

RULES:

1. All songs must be composed entirely within Reason. Reason versions may be requested for verification.

2. Only one song entry per person. Songs can be submitted as WAV, Aiff or
MP3 files. Songs must be of 5 minutes or less duration.

3. Winners can select prizes to the appropriate value from www.samples4.com.
Prizes will be delivered to winners free of charge.

4. All entries must be received before 1st October 2005.

5. AMG's panel of judges will decide the winner based on composition, sound design/selection and creative use of Reason. Their decision is final and winners will be notified and announced within 14 days of the end of the competition.

6. All entrants agree to allow their compositions to be available to listen to our AMG websites but retain all copyrights. Entrants may be offered additional commercial opportunities by AMG but are under no obligation whatsoever to accept any such offer by entering the contest.
